Awesome Astronomy

Everyone knows the Crater of Diamonds is a special place to find gems on the ground, but did you know we are also a great place to view the gems of the sky? Our rural location means our skies are dark and the night viewing is fantastic! Join guest speaker Glenn Good of nearby Ouachita Baptist University for a special astronomy slide presentation. Then, weather permitting, you will have a chance to view the moon and stars with a telelscope!

The Danger Zone

Join us for this informative program about common "outdoor dangers" that can be found in Arkansas. Learn how to identify animals and plants which can cause harm and how to successfully handle exposure or encounters with them. Learn how these "dangers" are a vital part of the ecosystem. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Park's Diamond Discovery Center.

Guitar Concert
